- (אשקיקה) אַשְׁקוּקָה ashkukah, a fictitious word as a disguise of שְׁבוּעָה, oath, I swear (cmp. אֲלִיקִי, אֱיפֹופֵי). Ned.10b א׳ לא אמר כלום if one says ashkukah, he has said nothing (his vow is not binding); v. שְׁקוּקָה.
